Lunch happens at a restaurant right beside the river, and you order from a menu instead of eating whatever gets put in front of you. The food is Moroccan, the setting is quiet except for the water, and by then you've earned it. After you eat, the drive back to Marrakech takes you the same route in reverse, but it feels different when you know what's up there. Hotel drop-off happens in the late afternoon, and you're back before evening.

The whole day runs about eight hours from pickup to drop-off. You need at least moderate fitness for the waterfall hike—it's not a stroll, and the terrain is uneven.
