The experience
You're staying in Agadir and have a free afternoon. This lesson fits that window. The school picks you up from your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle and takes you to Agadir Beach, where the water conditions are set up for learners. A certified instructor meets you there with a full board and wetsuit, and spends the two hours teaching you the fundamentals: how to paddle, how to pop up, how to read the wave. The instructor speaks English, French or Arabic, so language isn't a barrier.
Agadir Beach is known for having waves that work for all levels. Beginners get the smaller, slower breaks. If you've surfed before, the instructor puts you on something with more shape. The lesson is hands-on. You're in the water from the start, not watching a demonstration. The instructor stays close, correcting your stance and timing, and by the end you'll have caught several waves and know what to do next time you paddle out.
The school runs year-round and keeps the equipment maintained. You don't bring anything except a swimsuit and a towel. The pickup is included, so you don't need to find the beach on your own or arrange transport back to your hotel.

Top questions
What languages is the tour guided in?
Live guide in English, French and Arabic.
Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Child (6 to 17 years). Children under 6 can't be included in the booking.
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What's Agadir Beach actually like for learning to surf?
Agadir Beach has a range of wave sizes and breaks suited to different levels. Beginners get smaller, slower waves that are forgiving. Intermediate surfers work with more powerful swells. The beach is a working school location, so the conditions are predictable and the instructors know every section of the break.
Do I need to have surfed before, or can I start from zero?
You can start from zero. The instructor teaches beginners the full fundamentals (paddling, positioning, how to stand up on the board), and adjusts the lesson to your fitness level. The lesson covers intermediates too, so if you've surfed a few times, the instructor will focus on technique and reading waves.
What happens if I'm not confident in the water?
The instructor works with you in the shallows first, teaching the mechanics on the board before you paddle out. You stay close to the instructor the whole time. The lesson is designed so you build confidence gradually, not throw yourself into deep water.
Is the two-hour lesson enough to actually ride waves?
Yes. By the end of two hours, you'll have caught several waves and ridden them toward shore. The instructor focuses on the practical skills that let you do that, not just theory. You leave knowing what to work on if you take another lesson.
How does pickup work, and do I need to arrange anything?
The school picks you up from your Agadir hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle and brings you back after the lesson. You just need to tell them your hotel name when you book. Bring a swimsuit and a towel. The school provides the board, wetsuit and all other equipment.
