Xel-Há sits along the Riviera Maya as the world's largest natural aquarium, where a lagoon fed by the world's longest underground river system holds over 90 marine species. Snorkeling gear—mask, fins and a flotation vest—comes with your entry, so you walk off the bus ready to drift into the water among hundreds of tropical fish. The park spans more than 50 attractions across water, land and air activities, which means a single day holds snorkeling runs, cenote dives, zipline descents into crystal-clear coves, bicycle rides through mangrove and rainforest dotted with orchids, and guided stops at the Melipona bee apiary to learn about traditional Mayan honey harvest.

Between activities, inner tubes and bicycles are available for use, and you can float downriver or pedal the grounds at your own pace. Lounge chairs, hammocks and rest areas are scattered throughout, so rest happens on your terms. Showers, lockers, changing rooms and towels are on-site. The Light option keeps you hydrated with unlimited soft drinks, ice and mineral water throughout the day. If you choose All-Inclusive, breakfast, a lunch buffet and snacks arrive at five restaurants serving Mexican, international and fast food, with a domestic open bar included. A driver picks you up from your Cancun or Riviera Maya hotel and returns you at the end of the day—the schedule is set by your hotel location, so contact the operator to confirm your pickup time.

Special experiences rotate through the year—Earth Day, Birds' Day, World Sea Turtle Day, Day of the Manatee and others—and you can meet a manatee or walk the Path of Consciousness as part of your admission.
