Snorkeling in Tulum: 3 cenotes, private guide

A private snorkeling tour visiting three cenotes near Tulum (Grand Cenote, Taak-Bi-Ha in Dos Ojos park, and Xunan Ha) with a guide in English, Spanish or French, hotel pickup, snorkeling gear and Mexican snacks included. The tour runs six hours and departs from your accommodation.
Step-by-step itinerary
Visit three cenotes in Tulum
- Depart from hotel or lodging
- Swim and take photos at Grand Cenote
- Snorkel with guide at Grand Cenote
- Visit cenote taak-bi-ha in Dos Ojos park
- Swim at cenote Xunan Ha
The experience
The day starts at your hotel. A driver picks you up and takes you to Grand Cenote, an open-air cenote where you spend an hour snorkeling and taking photos in the clear water. From there you drive to Taak-Bi-Ha, a cavern cenote inside Dos Ojos park: the kind of place where the water is so still it mirrors the rock ceiling above. Your guide snorkels with you at each stop, pointing out what lives in the water and answering questions as you go.
The third cenote is Xunan Ha, an open-sky pool fed by underground springs, cold and refreshing after the morning's swimming. By the time you finish, you've moved through three different kinds of cenote geology in a single day (the exposed pool, the cavern, the open sky) without arranging transport or equipment yourself. Mexican snacks and bottled water come with the tour.
What’s included
- Private transportation from your hotel.
- snorkeling equipment for all three cenotes.
