The experience
The boat leaves Santa Cruz Bay and works its way along the coast, passing Playa Fandango, Playa del Amor, Playa Pescador and Playa Punta Paraiso before moving into Bahía Chahue and the smaller beaches beyond. Two stops anchor the day: La Entrega, where the water stays shallow and clear enough to see the bottom, and Maguey Bay, known for its deeper emerald green. At each stop you can snorkel if you want to, or eat at one of the beachfront restaurants, or simply stay on the boat and watch for dolphins, sea turtles and whales during their yearly migration.
Because the tour is fully private, you set the pace. You decide how long to linger at each bay, which stops matter most, and whether to spend the afternoon drifting between beaches or anchored in one place. The guide speaks both English and Spanish, and drinks stay cold on board throughout the day. Sports fishing is included at no extra cost. The boat carries rods and tackle, and you can cast from the deck or the water depending on what the guide recommends.
The tour runs six to seven hours depending on where you choose to stop and how long you stay. Infants can come along (they sit on an adult's lap), and the pace suits all fitness levels since most of the day happens on the water or on sand.

Is this one for you?The tour runs six to seven hours depending on your stops, so you're on the water most of the day. Bring sunscreen and plan to be comfortable in a boat. Because it's fully private, you control the pace and can spend as long as you want at each bay instead of following a fixed schedule.

Top questions
What languages is the guide in?
Live guide in English and Spanish.
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What's the difference between La Entrega and Maguey Bay?
La Entrega has crystalline, shallow water ideal for snorkeling in clear visibility, while Maguey Bay is deeper with emerald green water and sits closer to the beachfront restaurants where most people eat lunch.
Can I fish on this tour even if I've never done it before?
Yes. Sports fishing is included and the guide will show you how to cast and what to look for. You don't need any experience or bring any gear.
How many people can fit on the boat?
The tour is fully private, so it's just your group. The boat accommodates your party size, and the operator will confirm capacity when you book.
Do I have to snorkel, or can I skip it?
Snorkeling is optional at both La Entrega and Maguey Bay. You can stay on the boat, swim without gear, or sit on the beach instead. Note that snorkeling equipment is not provided. You bring your own or rent it separately.
What happens if we see dolphins or whales?
Dolphins and exotic fish are common year-round. Whales migrate through seasonally. The guide will adjust the route to give you the best chance to see them, but sightings depend on the day and the season.
What's included in the tour price?
The bilingual guide, onboard drinks or water, the boat itself, and sports fishing are all included. Meals at the beachfront restaurants are separate.
