Once in Homún, you have about an hour's walk to reach the first cenote. The route is organized so you move through four different sites, each one offering a different kind of cenote—some open to the sky, others inside caves—without the crowds that gather at the more famous ones.

At Pool Uinic, you get 1 hour 15 minutes to swim; the life jacket is included but optional here if you prefer to swim without it. Santa Rosa Park holds two cenotes side by side—Yum Kimil, an open type, and Santa Rosa, a cave cenote—and you have 2 hours to explore both. The final stop is San Antonio, a cave cenote where you swim for 1 hour 15 minutes, then move to the restaurant at the same location for lunch. The meal is a spread of typical Yucatán dishes, and vegetarian options are available. After eating, the van returns you to your Merida meeting point, arriving between 4:30 and 5:00 p.m.
