The Experience
The day starts with pickup at 9:00 AM from hotels on Mazatlan's Northwest side, then a 45-minute drive south to Old Mazatlan's historic center. You'll walk through the restored 19th-century plazas and step inside the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, then browse the flea market for local crafts and fresh goods. At 10:30 AM you reach Cliff's Divers show, perched on the Devil's Cave, where you watch the divers' performances before heading to the pier.
At 11:00 AM you board a double-decker catamaran and sail to Stone Island, where a beachfront restaurant waits with shaded seating, a table and chairs already set. This is where the ATV ride happens—a 30-minute run along the shoreline on a semiautomatic machine, with two guides handling the instruction and leading the way. The guides cover gear-shifting and trail navigation, so no prior riding experience is needed.
After you're back from the beach, the afternoon is yours. The restaurant serves full meals, or you can stay in the shade and swim. At 3:00 PM the day wraps up; you board the catamaran again at 3:15 PM and sail back to the pier for the return drive to your hotel, arriving by late afternoon. Ground and sea transport, complimentary drinks during travel, and the beachfront setup are all included.
