The experience

The shark tunnel is the centerpiece. You walk through an acrylic passage while sharks and rays move around you. Beyond that, the Bay of Rays lets you get close to the animals. Coral City recreates an ocean habitat with its own ecosystem. The main building and gardens hold more than 200 species spread across multiple zones, so the layout gives you choices about where to linger and what to skip.

Educational displays of diving, sea lions and birds run on a schedule posted at the entrance, so you can plan which ones to catch without missing the rest of the aquarium. Casa Capibara is a separate habitat worth the detour. The grounds are flat and fully accessible. Strollers work for infants, and service animals are welcome. Wear sunscreen and comfortable shoes. The gardens are open-air and you'll be on your feet.

A cafeteria, food zone and soda fountains are on-site, along with luggage storage and an ATM. The aquarium sits near public transportation options if you're not driving, and all pathways and surfaces are wheelchair accessible.
