Five ziplines, five suspension bridges, and a marine geyser in one afternoon

Ziplining in Ensenada combines two activities at Las Cañadas Campground and La Bufadora: you operate five ziplines and cross five suspension bridges to test your balance and nerve, then visit the blowhole and explore the local market. A guide in English or Spanish leads the day, and transport from your hotel is included. Not suitable for travelers with spinal injuries, pregnancy, or cardiovascular concerns.

Step-by-step itinerary

Zipline and Blowhole Adventure

  • Visit La Bufadora marine geyser
  • Explore Mexican crafts market
  • Enjoy typical regional gastronomy
  • Experience 5-line zipline and suspension bridges
  • View panoramic Pacific Inlet

The Experience

You start at Las Cañadas Campground, where the ziplines and suspension bridges wait. The course runs five lines across the terrain, each one a test of balance and nerve—you're operating the equipment yourself, not watching from below. Between the ziplines sit five suspension bridges that demand the same focus. The guide stays with your group throughout, managing safety and pacing so you move at a rhythm that works for everyone.

After the ziplines, you head to La Bufadora, one of only three marine geysers in the world and the second largest. The site sits on a tourist corridor where you can watch the blowhole in action and browse the Mexican craft market nearby. The local food stalls let you taste the region's typical flavors without the pressure of a sit-down meal. This part of the day is slower—a chance to recover and take in the Pacific inlet views.

Transport from your hotel is included, along with an air-conditioned vehicle and bottled water throughout. The guide speaks English or Spanish, and the whole experience runs between one and five hours depending on how long you spend at each stop and how many times you want to run the ziplines. Infants and small children can come along in a stroller or pram, and the park has specialized infant seats available.

Top questions

Is La Bufadora really one of the world's largest blowholes?

La Bufadora is the second largest marine geyser in the world, one of only three that exist. It sits on the Pacific inlet and is a major draw for visitors to Ensenada, with views from a tourist corridor where you can also shop and eat.

Do I need to arrange my own transport to Las Cañadas, or does the tour pick me up?

The activity includes an air-conditioned vehicle and pickup from your hotel, so you don't need to arrange transport yourself or find your own way to the zipline park.

Can I bring my infant or small child on the ziplining part?

Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller during the day, and specialized infant seats are available at Las Cañadas. However, they would not operate the ziplines themselves.

What's included in the price, and what do I need to pay for separately?

The activity includes the guide, transport, bottled water, and access to both the ziplines and La Bufadora. Lunch and alcoholic beverages are not included, though you can purchase food at the market and local stalls near the blowhole.

How long does the whole day take from start to finish?

The experience runs between one and five hours total, depending on how long you spend at the ziplines, how many times you run each line, and how much time you spend at La Bufadora and the market.
