The experience
You arrive at Señor And The Queen in central Cozumel and spend the next two and a half hours in a hands-on kitchen and bar setup. The class starts with guacamole: you smash, season, and serve your own bowl using classic Mexican ingredients, then the group votes on the Best Guac in Show. It's competitive and low-pressure at once. The point is to have fun with it.
From there you move to margarita mixology. A guide walks you through the technique for three different drinks, and you make each one yourself. The tequila tasting slots in during this part, so you're learning how the spirit works inside the cocktail, not just tasting it neat. All three drinks you mix are yours to sip, and the guide is live in English or Spanish depending on the group.
You leave with a digital recipe card and instructional videos so you can remake what you learned at home. The venue is wheelchair accessible, and the experience suits any fitness level. Public transportation stops are nearby if you're not driving.
