The experience
The day starts with pickup at your Valladolid hotel or at the meeting point on street 42 between 39 and 49, next to the María de la Luz hotel downtown. From there, a certified driver fluent in Spanish and basic English takes the group in an air-conditioned vehicle to Chichen Itza, where you'll spend time with the Kukulkan pyramid, the observatory, the thousand columns, and the sacred cenote. The driver waits while you explore. You control how long you stay at the ruins.
After Chichen Itza, the tour moves to two different cenotes in separate locations. At Cenote Xcajum, you swim in the underground pool and a meal is included with the basic option. Cenote Nool Ha is the second stop, another chance to descend into the Mayan underworld and swim. The sequence keeps the two cenotes distinct rather than rushing through them back-to-back, and the spacing gives the day a natural rhythm.
The return to Valladolid happens at the end of the eight-hour window, dropping you at your hotel or back at the meeting point. Travel insurance covers the group throughout. Tickets to Chichen Itza and cenote entry are not included in the transport price (you buy them separately at each site), but the all-inclusive option bundles everything upfront if you prefer one payment. Reservations require a minimum of two people.
