What’s included

Your day includes all dock fees covered up front plus life jackets for everyone onboard, full snorkeling gear ready to go near Pelican Rock, soft drinks and bottled water whenever you want them, fun floating devices for relaxing in the bay—and you get total flexibility with no fixed stops or schedules along the way.

So right off the bat, we nearly missed the dock because I got distracted by pelicans fighting over a fish near Marina Cabo San Lucas. Our guide (I think his name was Luis?) just grinned and waved us over — “Don’t worry, you’re on vacation time.” That kind of set the mood. The catamaran felt almost too nice for our messy group of six. Shoes off, salty breeze everywhere, and that weird mix of sunscreen and ocean air that sticks to your skin in Mexico.

I’d seen photos of El Arco before but it’s something else when you’re floating right under it. We took a million selfies (the boat captain offered to take one for all of us — he even made us laugh so it didn’t look stiff). Sea lions were barking like they owned the place at Land’s End, and honestly, they kind of do. There’s this moment when you drift past Lovers Beach and the rocks start glowing gold — I still think about that light sometimes.

Snorkeling near Pelican Rock was way better than I expected. The water’s colder than you’d guess but super clear. Fish everywhere — some neon blue ones I couldn’t name. My friend tried to use the Spanish names our guide told us but mostly just made everyone laugh. We floated around on those giant foam things (I fell off twice) and nobody cared because there were no crowds watching. Just our group, some distant music from Medano Beach drifting over the water, and the sound of someone popping open another soda.

We could’ve stopped anywhere or stayed longer at any spot — no schedule breathing down our necks. At one point we just sat on deck in silence, listening to waves slap against the hull while someone napped in the sun. It wasn’t perfect (I forgot my hat and burned my nose), but honestly? That’s what made it feel real. If you want a private catamaran tour in Cabo San Lucas where you can just be yourself with your people… this is probably it.
