You start at Mirador Puerto Marquez for photos of Acapulco Diamante, then move to a chapel where you learn the story of the family who donated this sacred monument and capture postcard views of the bay. From there you visit a silver factory and an artisan craft market to see how traditional jewelry is made, with time to shop for souvenirs before heading into the city proper.

The Zócalo, Acapulco's main square, gets a 20-minute stop, followed by the Diego Rivera murals at Exekatlkalli, where you see the work of Mexico's most celebrated muralist.
