The experience

Your driver picks you up from your hotel between 7:00am and 8:30am, then transfers you to the departure point for a 9:00am to 9:30am speedboat departure. The boat crosses the turquoise lagoon toward Grand River South East waterfall, where you may spot monkeys in the trees and native fruit bats along the riverbanks. After the waterfall, the speedboat stops at Ilot Mangénie for a freshly prepared barbecue lunch featuring grilled chicken, fish, salads, bread and rice, plus beer, wine, rum and soft drinks.

From there, a short boat ride takes you to Île aux Cerfs, where you have 3–4 hours of free time. Swim in the clear water, sunbathe on the white-sand beach, or explore optional island activities at your own pace. The speedboat then returns you to the departure point for your private transfer back to your hotel, completing the day.

You can book this tour on a shared or private basis. The shared option means you travel by speedboat with other guests, while the private option is for your group alone. Either way, your hotel pickup and dropoff remain private. A fully licensed, qualified driver handles all ground transfers in an air-conditioned, insured vehicle.
