The experience

The boat leaves Xlendi Bay and heads south along Gozo's coast, passing the ta Ċenċ cliffs (the highest and most dramatic on the island) before reaching Comino. Your first swim stop is the Blue Lagoon, where the water is clear enough to snorkel for around 25 minutes. The skipper then takes you past Cominotto, the smaller sister island, and stops at Crystal Caves for photos before the second swim stop at Crystal Lagoon, also ideal for snorkeling.

Because the boat is private and the skipper adjusts the itinerary within the 3-hour window, you're not locked into a fixed schedule. If you want longer at one stop or prefer to skip another, the skipper can change course. An ice box with ice comes on board, and snorkeling equipment is provided so you don't need to bring your own.

The final stop is Santa Marija Bay. You can anchor and swim, or the skipper can park the boat and you walk the beach: that choice happens on the day with the skipper. An English-speaking guide is on board throughout.
