The experience

Two hours on a Segway covers ground a walking tour cannot reach in the same time. You start from Qala Square, a three-minute drive from Mgarr Harbour, and ride through Gozo's eastern villages with views across the Maltese Archipelago. The guide handles the route and the pace. You focus on the landscape unfolding around you and the mechanics of staying balanced on the machine itself.

The tour passes through everyday village life and farming land, then stops at a family-run traditional bakery where you can see how local bread is made. From there you descend to Hondoq Bay for a swim to cool off. A professional guide leads the group in English, Spanish, Italian, French or another language, and the operator provides a helmet, bottled water, and photos or video of the experience.

A minimum of two people per booking is required, and you need to be at least 16 years old. The operator asks for your height and weight when you book so they can confirm the Segway will fit you.
