A 428-meter zipline crosses the turquoise waters between Maafushi and Vahmaafushi islands in the Maldives, taking 45 to 60 seconds of flight time. The experience includes safety briefing and equipment, hotel pickup and drop-off on Maafushi, a welcome drink on Vahmaafushi, and the speedboat return. The experience

The zipline tower sits on Maafushi, where the team fits your safety gear and walks you through what happens next. Once you're clipped in and ready, you step onto the launch platform and push off into a 45- to 60-second flight across open water. The line stretches 428 meters toward Vahmaafushi, dropping you onto the island's picnic area with views of the reef and surrounding atolls the whole way down. After landing, you have time to catch your breath and take in the quieter island atmosphere before the speedboat brings you back to Maafushi.

The whole thing (from pickup at your hotel to drop-off afterward) takes roughly 30 minutes. If you want to relive it, you can add drone footage, a still photographer, or an Insta 360 camera at the time you book. The welcome drink on Vahmaafushi is included no matter which option you choose. Children from age 6 can participate, and the activity suits most fitness levels, though it's not recommended for anyone with spinal injuries, cardiovascular concerns, or pregnancy.
