Day two takes you from Maseru through Roma, the country's education hub, then onward to Semonkong, the Place of Smoke, where Maletsunyane Falls drops into a valley carved by the Maluti mountains. You can reach the falls on foot or by horseback, then lunch at a local restaurant. The route back to Maseru runs along the front range of the Maluti, and you visit a remote village to spend time with the community. Walking is moderate, around 200 meters across the day.
