The experience

The Gate of Dawn anchors the route: the only remaining city gate from Vilnius' medieval walls, and a pilgrimage site for the icon of the Virgin Mary that glows gold inside its chapel. From there, the guide takes you through the Old Town's Gothic and Baroque facades, past the Cathedral and its Bell Tower, and up to Gediminas Castle Tower, where the brick structure from the 1400s sits above a UNESCO-listed historic center.
