You choose how many days you need: 1, 2, 3, or 5 days.

The pass won the Special Jury Prize at the 9th Japan Tourism Awards, which matters because it means the system actually works for international visitors—not just in theory. You create an account on the website, enter your activation code from Viator, download the app to iOS or Android, and log in. That's it. From there, you move through Tokyo at your own pace. Some days you might spend three hours in the National Museum of Western Art (home to Rodin sculptures and Impressionist paintings), and other days you're just ducking into Hama Rikyu Gardens for an hour to see the pond with its tidal flow, surrounded by skyscrapers. The Snoopy Museum, the Hokusai museum, the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation—they're all on the same pass. If you add the optional Tokyo Subway Ticket, you get unlimited travel on all 13 Tokyo Metro lines, which removes another layer of friction. The pass works for permanent exhibitions at most attractions, though some museums rotate special exhibitions that aren't included—but there's enough on the permanent collections alone to fill days. One thing to know: you need to be comfortable downloading and using an app on your smartphone. The pass is digital only, and it's designed for people traveling to Japan from overseas. If you're 65 or older, some attractions offer senior discounts at the gate that might be cheaper than the pass, so it's worth checking before you buy. Otherwise, the math is simple—Tokyo Tower alone is ¥1,500, the National Museum is ¥1,000, Mori Art Museum is ¥2,000, and you're already at ¥4,500 before you've seen a garden or a zoo.
