The experience
You'll meet your guide at the field and get fitted with a life jacket and water shoes before pushing off. The boards and canoes are built for stability, so beginners and all ages paddle without struggle. You set the pace across the water. There's no fixed route or schedule to keep, just you, the guide, and the emerald bay. The activity runs roughly 90 minutes from start to finish, though the exact timing shifts with the tide and weather.
Six departure windows run throughout the day: early morning (6:00 and 8:30), mid-morning (10:30), early afternoon (13:30), late afternoon (15:30), and sunset (17:30). The 6:00 and 17:30 slots are built for sunrise and sunset views. You'll need to decide between SUP or canoe when you book and confirm your choice with the shop by the day before. The operator is Japan's top-ranked marine activity shop by category and has guided over 500,000 guests. All guides hold water rescue certification.
Wear clothes that can get wet and use the restroom before arrival. There are no facilities at the site. Parking costs 1,000–2,000 yen. Tours run in rain but may be canceled if conditions turn unsafe. Public transport stops are nearby if you're not driving. Photo data from the activity is free to download, and you'll get a coupon page for local restaurants as part of the booking.

Is this one for you?Choose SUP if you want to stand and take in a wider view while paddling. Pick canoe if you prefer sitting lower in the water or want a craft that's easier to enter and exit. Both are stable enough for first-timers, so the choice comes down to what feels more comfortable to you.
