The Experience

Yonabaru Marina is where you board a Lagoon 42-foot catamaran built by the French yacht maker Lagoon and designed to carry groups in comfort. The boat is yours alone for either a 3-hour or 6-hour window, with no other parties on board. You can stream your own music through the Bluetooth system, move freely between the deck and cabin, and use the onboard toilet and shower. The catamaran sits low enough in the water that you can slip into snorkeling spots without a long boat ride to reach them.

Certified snorkel instructors are available if you add that option—they brief you on technique and safety before you enter the water. If you'd rather stay on deck, you can relax, swim from the boat, or rent a SUP to paddle out. The 6-hour course gives you time for both water activities and a meal; the 3-hour option works for groups who want to cruise and snorkel without the full day commitment. All photos taken during your time on board are sent to your phone at no extra charge.

Meals are optional and prepared by chefs from Kafu Resort Fuchakkondo, one of Okinawa's established resort hotels. The 6-hour course opens up BBQ options and a special multi-tier hors d'oeuvres spread; the 3-hour course can include the hors d'oeuvres as well. You can also add champagne, extend your time by the hour, or book drone photography to capture the boat and the water from above. Reservations are confirmed within 24 hours, and you'll receive payment links for any add-ons after your booking is locked in.
