The experience

The activity runs 4 to 5 hours from hotel pickup in Ocho Rios. You'll arrive at Dunn's River Falls with your pre-purchased park entry already arranged, skip the ticket line, and move straight to the gear station. A trained guide assigns you to a small group and walks through the safety briefing and equipment setup before you climb the first tower.

Once you're harnessed in, the course takes you horizontally across the canopy on traverses and bridges that thread through the jungle treetops. The lines position you above the falls themselves (not alongside them, but directly over the water), so you're looking down at the cascade as you move. The suspended jungle bridges let you walk across sections of the course without zipping, giving your arms a break and your eyes a chance to settle on the view. After you've worked through the upper sections, you descend to the base of the falls and switch from ziplining to climbing: you'll ascend the natural terraced pools of Dunn's River on foot, moving from one level to the next until you reach the top.

Hotel or port pickup is flexible between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., and the return journey includes drop-off at your accommodation. The vehicles are air-conditioned.
