The experience

The day starts with a drive north from Venice into the Prosecco Hills, a UNESCO Heritage site where the vineyards roll across green slopes. At a selected winery, you taste 4–5 Proseccos paired with local cured meats and cheeses, learning how the region's cool climate and limestone soil shape the wine. The tasting sits inside the working vineyard, so you see where the grapes grow while you drink them.

After the winery, the route moves to Villa Barbaro, a Renaissance country house designed by Andrea Palladio in the 16th century. You stop for photos and walk the grounds, standing in front of one of the Veneto's most recognizable architectural statements. Then comes Asolo, a hilltop town perched on green slopes and known for its elegant piazzas and views across the valley. The narrow streets are built for walking, and the town is small enough to cover on foot without rushing.

The final stop is Bassano del Grappa, a picturesque town on the Brenta river where a Palladian bridge crosses the water. The bridge is the landmark most visitors photograph, and the town itself has cafés and shops if you want to linger. Your driver is with you throughout, handling navigation and offering commentary in English. The minivan is air-conditioned and holds the group together without splitting into separate vehicles.
