The experience
The boat leaves Olbia Marina in the morning and heads into the Marine Protected Area, where each stop is chosen for a different kind of water and a different view. The first swim happens in a bay ringed by wind-sculpted rocks with a white sand floor and thousands of small fish. The second is shallower, in pastel gradients from turquoise to emerald, and gentler for less confident swimmers. A third stop at Spalmatore di Terra cove offers snorkeling and a chance to watch the marine life of the reserve up close. The skipper then takes the boat to Molara's famous "Piscine" (a cove of Tiffany-blue water where the fish from the reserve gather), and to Sassi Piatti, a granite-walled bay with red, pink, white and gray stone where the crew serves the day's aperitif: local cold cuts and cheeses, pasta salad, bread, canapés, wine and water. A final swim near the Turtle Rock closes the tour before the return to Olbia.
The boat is new, fast and built for small groups, with a professional crew who speak English, Spanish, Italian, French and one additional language. Snorkeling equipment is provided. The itinerary is not fixed: the skipper adjusts stops and timing based on weather and sea conditions, so the exact sequence and which coves you visit can shift. Infants must sit on an adult's lap. The tour is not recommended for pregnant travelers.

The skipper adjusts stops by weather and conditions, which means the exact coves and timing are not locked in advance. Book this one if flexibility matters more than a set itinerary.
