A compact inflatable boat stops closer to the water than larger vessels, letting you swim longer at each cove.
A full-day boat tour along Sicily's northwest coast using a small inflatable boat to reach San Vito lo Capo, Zingaro reserve and Castellammare. The experience
The boat itself is the difference here. A 9-meter inflatable vessel draws shallow enough to anchor close to the beaches and caves along this stretch of coast, which means you spend more of the day in the water and less motoring between sites. You'll visit the lovers' cave and Punta Leone caves, both reachable because the boat can position itself near the rocks without the draft constraints of larger tour boats. The driver knows the maritime district in detail and positions stops where the sea stays clear enough for snorkeling.
The day runs eight hours and includes snorkeling equipment, so you come ready to use it. Sicilian products, wine, soda and bottled water are on board. There's an awning for shade and a fresh water shower to rinse off salt. A bathroom is available. The guide speaks Italian and will walk you through what you're seeing as you move along the coast.

Is this one for you? This tour suits swimmers and snorkelers who want to spend most of the day in the water rather than traveling. The small boat's shallow draft is what makes the longer stops at caves and close-to-shore beaches possible, so you get more time in the water at each site than a larger vessel would allow.

Top questions
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What's the lovers' cave like when you get there?
The lovers' cave is one of the stops the small boat can reach close to shore. You'll swim to it and explore the rock formation from the water. The boat's shallow draft lets it position near the entrance in a way larger vessels cannot.
How much time do you actually spend swimming versus traveling?
The eight-hour tour is structured around longer stops at each beach and cave rather than long stretches of sailing. The 9-meter boat's size means less transit time between sites, so you get more water time at each location.
Is snorkeling equipment included, or do I need to bring my own?
Snorkeling equipment is included in the tour. You don't need to bring your own or pay extra for it.
What food and drinks are provided during the day?
The boat carries typical Sicilian products, wine, soda and bottled water throughout the eight hours. A fresh water shower is also on board to rinse off after swimming.
