The experience
The tour starts at the Colosseum, where your guide walks you through the history of gladiators and emperors while you photograph one of the world's most recognizable monuments. From there, the golf cart takes you to Circus Maximus, the ancient chariot-racing arena, then to a quiet terrace with orange trees for views across the city. You'll pass the Temple of Hercules and the Mouth of Truth before reaching the Theatre of Marcellus, built by Emperor Augustus and a direct ancestor of the Colosseum's design.
The route then moves through Piazza Venezia toward the Pantheon, a masterpiece of Roman engineering famous for its unreinforced dome: the largest in the world when it was built and still intact after nearly two thousand years. Next is Trevi Fountain, where you stop to throw a coin and photograph the Baroque sculptures and crowds. The tour ends at the Spanish Steps, the 135-step marble staircase that links Piazza di Spagna to the church above, and finishes at Piazza del Popolo, a Roman square framed by twin churches and an Egyptian obelisk.
The golf cart does the work a walking tour would demand: you stay seated and comfortable while the guide narrates, and you can ask questions or linger at any stop without holding up the group. Insurance is included, and the cart is wheelchair accessible, so the tour works for different mobility needs. The guide speaks English, Croatian or Serbian, and children from age one are welcome.

Is this one for you?The guide speaks English, Croatian or Serbian, so book this tour if you're comfortable with live commentary in one of those languages. Top questions
What languages is the tour guided in?
Live guide in English, Croatian and Serbian.
Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Child (1 to 14 years).
What's the difference between the Pantheon's dome and other ancient Roman buildings?
The Pantheon's dome is unreinforced concrete, no internal support structure, and at nearly 150 feet across, it remains the largest unreinforced dome in the world. It has survived intact for almost two thousand years, which is why it stands out among Rome's ancient sites.
How much time do we spend at each landmark, or is it mostly driving?
The tour balances stops and movement across three hours. You spend time at major landmarks like the Colosseum, Pantheon and Trevi Fountain for photos and your guide's stories, and the golf cart moves between them so you're not walking long distances between sites.
Will we see the inside of the Colosseum or Pantheon, or just the outside?
The tour focuses on guided exploration and photo stops at each landmark. Entry tickets to monuments are not included, so you see and photograph the exteriors and hear the history from your guide. If you want to go inside, that's a separate booking and cost.
Is this tour suitable if I'm not comfortable walking much?
Yes. The golf cart is wheelchair accessible and all areas and surfaces on the route are accessible. You stay seated in the cart between stops, and the tour is suitable for all physical fitness levels, so limited mobility is not a barrier.
What happens if I want to spend more time at one stop or skip another?
The tour follows a set route and schedule to fit all the landmarks into three hours, but your guide can answer questions and you have time to photograph at each stop. The small-group size means the pace is more flexible than a large bus tour, though the overall itinerary is fixed.
