The audioguide works on your phone in eight languages (English, Italian, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, and Chinese), and it downloads before you arrive so you don't need WiFi inside. You move through the amphitheater's levels, stop as long as you want at the arches and seating tiers, take pictures without someone tapping your shoulder. After the Colosseum, you walk the Via Sacra—the Sacred Road that connected temples and public spaces in ancient Rome—and it leads you straight into the Roman Forum.
