The experience
How do you see the Amalfi Coast without renting a car or joining a bus full of strangers? This tour picks you up and handles the drive along one of Italy's most winding coastlines, leaving you free to watch the pastel villages and terraced lemon groves roll past. The route starts in Positano (the town of soft colors and steep streets that appears on every postcard), then moves through Praiano and stops in Amalfi, where you'll have time to visit the Cathedral of Sant'Andrea before lunch.
Lunch happens at a restaurant with a view of the water, and it's built around what the region actually grows: an appetizer, a first course, a dessert and a glass of wine, all from typical southern Italian ingredients. After you eat, the tour continues along the coast before climbing to Ravello, where the final stop is the viewpoints: the reason Ravello exists at all. The whole day runs seven to eight hours. The vehicle is air-conditioned, has WiFi on board, and parking fees are covered. If you're traveling with infants or small children, specialized seats are available.
Your guide speaks the language you book in (English, Spanish, Italian, French or one of the other options), and travels with the group the whole way. This is a private tour, so it's just your party and the driver and guide, not a coach of forty people.

Is this one for you?The tour runs seven to eight hours with stops in four towns, so it's a full day of travel and walking through villages. Book this if you want to see the whole coast in one outing without driving the curves yourself. If you prefer a shorter excursion or a slower pace in fewer places, look for a half-day option instead.

Yes. Ticket types: Youth (12 to 24 years); Child (2 to 11 years); Infant (under 2).
What is there to do in Positano besides walking around?
Positano itself is a vertical town built into the cliffs, so most of the experience is the architecture, the pastel colors of the buildings, and the views down to the beach and the water. Lunch is included: an appetizer, a first course, a dessert and a glass of wine at a seaside restaurant in Amalfi. Champagne is available only on request and costs extra.
How much walking is involved in this tour?
The tour is suitable for all physical fitness levels. You'll walk through the towns at each stop (Positano, Praiano, Amalfi and Ravello), but the pace is set by the group, and there's no requirement to hike or climb. The viewpoints in Ravello are accessible on foot from where the vehicle stops.
