The experience
How do you see Positano, Amalfi and Ravello without renting a car or booking three separate trips? This tour solves it by pairing the boat with a minivan. You meet at 8:15am in central Sorrento, transfer to Piano di Sorrento Port, and board a boat that sails the coast for the morning. Past Marina Grande, the ruins of a Roman villa near Bagni della Regina Giovanna, and a natural waterfall that drops from the rock at Massa Lubrense. The route passes Li Galli Island, Nerano and Praiano before reaching Fiordo di Furore, where you stop to swim and snorkel in water so clear the crew serves snacks and drinks on board.
Once in Amalfi, a local guide and driver meet you and drive the minivan up to Ravello, where you have an hour to walk the town (known for its views and artistic heritage), before returning to Amalfi for another hour to see the Sant'Andrea Cathedral or the seafront. The boat then takes you to Positano, the "pearl" of the coast, for an hour to explore its steep streets and beach. On the return sail to Sorrento, you relax with limoncello. The whole day runs 9 to 10 hours, ending back at Marina Piccola port in central Sorrento.
The group stays small (no more than 12 to 14 people), and the tour requires a minimum of four passengers. A professional skipper leads the boat, and the minivan holds up to eight. Snorkelling gear is not included, though you can bring your own or rent a mask and snorkel before boarding. The destination fee of €10 per person is paid at check-in.
