The experience

You board the shuttle from Pompeii and ride to the farm's property on Mount Vesuvius's slopes. A staff member greets you on arrival and walks through the farm's history, values and approach to organic, sustainable agriculture. The foundation for everything you're about to eat. Then you sit down to a meal built entirely from what grows and is raised on the land around you.

The lunch unfolds in courses. A charcuterie board opens with cured meats and cheeses from the farm, alongside organic honey and homemade grissini. Next comes homemade ravioli filled with ricotta and lemon zest in tomato sauce. A lemon pie with a sablè dough closes the meal. Each course pairs with a selection of regional wines chosen to match the flavors in front of you. Water is included throughout. The whole time you're eating, the view holds: the Gulf of Sorrento and Capri visible from where you sit, the setting quiet and removed from the crowds that fill the archaeological sites below.

The shuttle returns you to Pompeii when the meal ends. A vegetarian option is available if you request it at booking, and the farm welcomes service animals. The minimum booking is two people.
