You fly above the coast, then slide beneath the surface on the same day.

Parasailing in Salento combines two water activities in one outing: you take off from a boat at Torre Vado marina and fly above Capo di Leuca, then return to the water to glide on a specially designed SeaBoard that lets you dive and explore underwater. A live guide in English or Italian leads both activities, and all equipment is provided. The experience runs about an hour and suits all fitness levels, with children welcome from age 4.

The experience

The day starts at Torre Vado marina in the heart of Salento, where the staff brief you on safety before boarding. Once on the boat, parasailing begins: you take off directly from the deck and rise above the crystal clear water at Capo di Leuca, the point where the Ionian Sea meets the Adriatic. The coast unfolds beneath you as you float on the parachute, suspended over the exact geography that defines this corner of Italy.

After you land back on deck, the adventure shifts underwater. The SeaBoard Experience uses a specially designed board towed behind the boat that lets you glide across and below the surface. Ergonomic handles and the guide's support mean you control the dive: you can dip under to explore the marine life, then rise back up, all without needing to swim or wear scuba gear. The board does the work. You steer the moment.

Both activities run back-to-back in a single session, so if you have a free afternoon in Salento, you get two distinct sensations of the same water without a second trip. The staff stays with you throughout to manage safety and gear, and infants can sit on an adult's lap during the boat portions.

Is this one for you?You do both activities yourself (flying the parasail and steering the SeaBoard) rather than watching from the boat, so this suits anyone who wants to be in the action rather than observing it. The shared boat format keeps the cost down and pairs you with other adventurers. If you prefer to book the boat privately, confirm that option at checkout.
