The experience
Stela walks you through the fundamentals of hand embroidery (how thread moves through fabric, how to build a design, how to keep tension even), then you apply those techniques to personalize a garment or bag she provides. You choose whether to embroider your name, a heart, a star or another symbol onto the T-shirt or bag, working at your own pace while she watches and adjusts your grip or your stitch. The piece you make is yours to take home.
After you finish embroidering, you have access to Stela's wardrobe of finished pieces: earrings, bracelets, necklaces, handbags and customized garments she has selected for her shop. If something catches your eye, you can buy it. If you want to make a piece even more distinctive, you can add brilliant beads or other details to it before purchase: turning a ready-made item into something personalized.
The class includes water or soft drinks. Stela teaches in English, Italian or Greek, so you can book in whichever language suits you. The space is fully wheelchair accessible, and the class works for all fitness levels.
