The experience

The route is built around avoiding the traffic that clogs the main roads around Lake Garda. Instead of fighting congestion, you follow the DGtalguide™ app, which steers you to the quietest roads and the highest viewpoints (some nearly 300 meters above the water), where you can stop and photograph the lake and shoreline without the crowds. The app also tells you what you're looking at: the old lemon greenhouses of Limone sul Garda, the castle at Malcesine, the alpine meadows above the lake where local cheese is made, and the fortress town of Riva del Garda, which appears on most postcards of the lake.

You ride a new Vespa or Brera scooter in mint condition, equipped with a top box for your belongings and a smartphone holder with charger so the app stays visible and powered. Fuel is included, and you can ride as far as you want. There's no mileage limit. The ferry crossing from Limone sul Garda to Malcesine is a stop in itself: you ride the scooter onto the boat, then stand on deck to photograph both towns from the water. Passenger tickets cost 20% less than the standard price.

The tour includes reserved tables and discounts at partner restaurants and food shops along the route. Lunch at a small family-run trattoria typically costs €15–€25, with an additional 10% discount. You'll also find shops selling local cheese in the alpine area and regional products in Riva del Garda, all offering special prices to Motoragazzi customers. The entire loop takes seven to eight hours, and the app tells you where to stop and what to expect at each point.
