If trekking appeals to you, there's a route into Levanzo's pine forest with a boat tour of the island afterward—ask the skipper about it when you board. The pace is yours: some travelers spend the afternoon mostly in the water, others split their time between swimming and exploring on foot.

A skipper and crew manage the boat and navigation; they speak English and Italian. Bottled water, soda and all port fees are covered in the price.
