The experience

The tour leaves Trapani port at 10 a.m. and runs until approximately 6 p.m., giving you a full day on the water and islands. The skipper decides the route as the morning unfolds, choosing the most sheltered coves and best conditions for the day, so the itinerary adapts to what will work rather than following a fixed plan. You'll stop at the most beautiful coves on Favignana and Levanzo, where you swim and rest between boat legs. Cold drinks are waiting at each stop.

At Favignana or Levanzo, the boat docks and you have time to walk the village, grab lunch at a local spot, and browse for souvenirs. If trekking appeals to you, there's a route into Levanzo's pine forest with a boat tour of the island afterward. Ask the skipper about it when you board. The pace is yours: some travelers spend the afternoon mostly in the water, others split their time between swimming and exploring on foot.

A skipper and crew manage the boat and navigation. They speak English and Italian. Bottled water, soda and all port fees are covered in the price. Infants travel free on an adult's lap, and the tour suits all fitness levels since you're on a boat between stops and can choose how much walking to do ashore.

How much time do I get in each village?

The skipper decides the timing based on the day's conditions and your group's pace, so there's no fixed schedule. You'll have enough time to have lunch and walk around. Ask the crew when you board if you want specifics for that departure.

Is the pine forest trek on Levanzo included, or do I pay extra?

The trekking route to Levanzo's pine forest is an option the skipper can arrange. It's not automatically part of every tour. Mention it when you book or when you board if you're interested, and the crew will work it into the day if conditions allow.

What happens if the weather is rough?

The skipper chooses the route each morning based on sea conditions to keep the experience safe and comfortable. If conditions change during the day, the skipper may adjust which coves you visit or how long you stay at each stop.

Do I need to bring anything, or is water provided?

Bottled water and soda are included at every stop. Bring sunscreen, a swimsuit, a towel and comfortable shoes for walking in the villages. The boat has shade, but the sun is strong on the water.
