The experience
The e-bikes do the climbing work, so you can focus on the terrain itself: dirt roads that wind through Mediterranean scrub, past sea cliffs and natural lakes, across one of the island's highest vineyards. The FCI-certified guide gives you insights before and during the ride, stopping at panoramic points where the view drops straight to the water. The ride takes roughly an hour, covering the wildest part of the Island of Elba across a vast promontory southeast of Capoliveri.
After the ride, you head to the cellar at Tenuta delle Ripalte, a 450-hectare estate on Monte Calamita. Here you relax with an aperitif, tasting the estate's wines alongside snacks, all from the rooftop of a design cellar. The view stays on the sea the whole time. Departure is at 4 p.m., with a meeting time about 20 minutes before. You arrive at the cellar by 5 p.m.
