Swim past grottos and a waterfall along the Amalfi Coast, guided by someone who swims here every day.

Swim the Amalfi Coast with a lifeguard guide for two hours starting from Minori beach. You'll swim freestyle along the coastline past grottos, the Marmorata waterfall, and the Scarpariello viewpoint, with the guide capturing video on a GoPro and sharing stories of the coast. Swim shirt, swim buoy and bottled water are included. You bring your own goggles and swim cap. The guide speaks English, Spanish or Italian and respects your limits while keeping you safe in the water.

The experience

This is open-water swimming along the Amalfi Coast, not a pool or a guided tour of sights from a boat. You'll be in the water for the full two hours, swimming freestyle from Minori beach toward the Marmorata waterfall, then continuing to the Scarpariello viewpoint before heading back. The guide stays close the whole time, watching your safety and stopping at the most beautiful spots (grottos, the waterfall, views from the water) to film and photograph moments on a GoPro. You'll hear the stories of the places you pass: the villas, the geology, the secrets of this stretch of coast.

You need to be an active swimmer comfortable with freestyle. This is not a beginner lesson or a leisurely float. Bring your own goggles and swim cap. The guide provides a swim shirt and a buoy, plus bottled water. The session starts with stretching on Minori beach before you enter the water. The guide speaks English, Spanish or Italian and will respect your personal limits. If the pace or the distance feels like too much, they'll adjust. The minimum age is 18.

The appeal here is the video: you'll get footage of yourself swimming this coastline, with the waterfall and the viewpoint as your backdrop. It's a keepsake most swimmers don't get from a regular open-water swim. The guide also emphasizes the environmental side of the activity: swimming as a way to connect with and respect the coast itself.
