Your private English-speaking driver picks you up in Sorrento and takes you first to Positano, a vertical village built into the cliff face where linen boutiques and narrow alleys wind between pastel buildings. From there the route continues to Amalfi, home to a medieval cathedral in the Piazza del Duomo and a paper museum housed in an ancient mill: one of Europe's first centers of paper making.

After lunch (your choice of where to eat), the final stop is Ravello, perched even higher on the coast.
