The tour starts with pickup from Guwahati Airport and a 4.5-hour drive to Kaziranga, where you stay in a private room at a budget hotel. Day two is built around two jungle drives: the first leaves at dawn (5:30 or 6:30 a.m.) into the Western range, when wildlife is most active. You travel by jeep on a shared safari ride, watching for the greater one-horned rhino—the park's signature animal—alongside wild water buffalo, Asian elephants, swamp deer, and pythons. The park is also home to migratory birds like lesser white-fronted geese, ferruginous ducks and black-necked storks that arrive from Central Asia in winter. Tigers have returned to remote parts of the reserve since it was declared a Tiger Reserve in 2006, though spotting one requires luck.

After the morning safari, you return to the hotel for breakfast and rest, then head out for local sightseeing: the lush tea gardens of Assam and a visit to a Karbi ethnic village. Lunch is optional and at your choice. The afternoon jeep safari takes you back into the park for another drive through the jungle, giving a second window to encounter wildlife before returning to the hotel for the night.

On day three, pickup happens according to your departure time for the 4.5-hour drive back to Guwahati or Tezpur Airport. The tour includes National Park entry fees, the shared safari rides, the air-conditioned vehicle for transfers, and two nights in a private room.
