The experience

There’s this clap (sharp and echoing) right at the Bala Hissar gate of Golconda Fort. Our guide, Sameer, grinned and told us to try it ourselves. Charminar rose above everything like it always does in photos but seeing it up close is different. The stone is worn smooth where thousands have touched it.
