The experience

The tour leaves Hyderabad at 9:00 AM with a professional driver who takes you through the Eastern Ghats to Tiger Stay Resort. You'll check in, eat lunch, and rest before the evening jeep safari at 4:00 PM. That three-hour drive with an experienced naturalist is when you search for wildlife across one of India's largest tiger habitats. The reserve holds leopards, wild boar, sambar deer and other species alongside the tigers. You return for high tea and dinner at the resort.

Day two starts in darkness. A guided nature trek climbs to Prataprudra Fort, a historic site in the hills, timed to reach it as the sun rises. After the trek and breakfast, you check out at 10:30 AM and drive back to Hyderabad, arriving by early afternoon.
