Work alongside a coffee farmer and drink what grows on the land

A three-hour coffee activity near Antigua's Agua Volcano where you learn cultivation and harvesting directly from a local farmer, then taste the coffee they grow. The experience includes pickup, transport to the farm, entrance, and a guide in English or Spanish.

The Experience

You'll start by connecting with the agricultural community around Antigua, moving through the working farm where the coffee grower explains the full cycle—what fertilizers feed the plants, how they're treated through the seasons, when and how they're harvested. This isn't a walk-through; you're learning the processes by doing parts of them alongside someone who has spent years on this land. The farmer shows you what makes the difference between one cup and another, the details that separate a crop.

The tasting comes at the end, after you've seen where the beans come from. You'll learn how to make your own cup from the coffee grown right there, tasting what a local farmer produces. The three-hour window gives you time to move through the farm without rushing, ask questions as they come up, and sit with the coffee while it's still fresh.

What’s included

  • Coffee tasting from the farm's own harvest.
  • entrance to the coffee plantation.
  • pickup and transport.
  • a live guide in English or Spanish.
