Step-by-step itinerary
Coconut experience and underwater observatory
- Check in at Fish Eye Visitor Center
- Experience coconut grating and tasting
- Enjoy drinks of fresh coconut juice and meat
- Watch marine life from upper deck live video
- Explore underwater observatory with 360° reef views
The experience
You start at the Fish Eye Visitor Center, where a guide and entertainer walk you through the coconut from harvest to table. The hands-on part is real: you learn to grate the meat and extract the milk yourself, then drink fresh juice and eat the soft flesh beside an artificial waterfall. The tropical garden gives you a chance to pose for photos with the entertainers, and the images upload instantly via free Wi-Fi so you can share them as you go.
After the coconut lesson, you head to the Underwater Observatory. The chamber sits 20 feet below the surface and has 26 windows built into its walls, giving a full 360° view of the reef. You can watch a live video feed from the upper deck if you prefer to stay dry, or descend into the observatory itself to see the marine life up close through the glass. The setup means you get the reef without needing to dive or snorkel.
Pickup and lunch are both optional: you can book the activity alone, add hotel transportation, add a buffet lunch with vegetarian choices, or combine both. A 10% service charge applies to any food you order at the restaurant. All ages are welcome, and the site is wheelchair accessible, though not all bus transfers accommodate wheelchairs. Contact ahead if you need special arrangements.
