The experience
You start at Mark's Sports Bar, where the guide introduces you to Grenada's signature spiced rum, locally called "Under the Counter", and rum punch. The bar stocks different varieties you can buy to take home. From there, the route moves to Wild Orchid Bar, positioned near Annandale Waterfalls. You can order mixed drinks and take a swim in the falls if you want a break from tasting. The West Indies Beer Company comes next, offering shots of beer brewed on the island itself.
The Clarke's Court Rum Distillery (also called Nick's Barrel House) is where the tasting deepens: for $5 USD, you sample five or more types of rum while learning how each one is made. This stop gives you the technical side of what you've been drinking at the earlier bars. Lunch happens during the tour, and you carry a water bottle sling holder with an adjustable strap throughout the day.
The final stop is Esther's Bar on Grand Anse Beach, where you can wade into the water and mingle with locals while the sun moves across the white sand. You'll receive glow-in-the-dark and LED flash shot glasses to keep, plus a color-changing stadium cup. The guide handles the logistics and timing. You just move between stops and decide what to drink at each one.
