A one-hour watercolor workshop in Parikia, Paros, where you learn painting basics and two Greek-themed techniques from a local artist in her family garden, then create your own piece while it dries. The experience

You arrive at a family garden in Parikia and spend the first part of the class learning watercolor fundamentals. The artist then demonstrates two different Greek-themed scenes step by step, showing you how to build each one. While your paintings dry, you get local tips about the island and a chance to see the artist's gallery: the working space where she develops her own work.

You leave with a finished painting you made yourself, not a demonstration piece. All materials (brushes, paints, paper) are included, so you bring nothing but yourself. The class suits beginners and experienced painters alike. Families often book together, and children from age five onward join in. The garden setting and the artist's presence make this different from a classroom: you're learning in the space where the work actually happens.

What’s included

  • Watercolor paints, brushes, paper and water.
  • instruction in painting basics and two Greek-themed techniques.
  • access to the artist's gallery.
  • a finished painting you create during the class.
