The experience
Sea kayaking in Paros puts you in control of a small, stable boat that reaches rocky coastlines and remote beaches inaccessible by road. After meeting your guide at the beach, you receive all paddling and safety equipment, then a briefing on technique and trip planning. The guide shares local history and cultural details about the Parian marine environment as you paddle, and takes photos throughout to send you afterward. The boat itself is the access: you move under your own power through crystal-clear water, relying on your own strength rather than an engine or a larger vessel.
The trip includes one or two stops where you rest, swim and snorkel using provided equipment, then walk to a viewpoint or simply float in the water. You're offered a snack or a picnic of sandwiches, fresh fruit and local pastry products at one of these breaks. The guide chooses the stops based on conditions and your group's pace, so the exact beaches and timing shift with the day. You'll visit the environmental Park of Paros and a small island with a Cycladic chapel, both reachable only by kayak.
Bring 1.5 liters of water and sun protection (hat, sunscreen or a long-sleeved shirt) as you'll be exposed on the water for the full duration. The guide ensures safety throughout, and you'll finish with the photos from the day's paddling in your inbox.

Is this one for you?Choose the day trip if you want to explore in daylight and see the viewpoints clearly, or the evening departure if you prefer to paddle as the light changes and finish closer to dinner. Either way, this trip suits strong swimmers and paddlers comfortable relying on their own strength for six hours. It's not a guided sightseeing tour where someone else does the work.
