Sea kayak and snorkel the Athens Riviera with a certified guide, paddling along rock formations and islets to reach hidden beaches where you swim and snorkel. The activity requires only the ability to swim and moderate fitness. All kayak and snorkeling equipment is provided, along with a traditional picnic and free photos. Meet at your chosen location: metro station with lunch, on-site at Ag. Nikolaos, or hotel pickup with lunch, and return after four hours.

The experience

You'll meet your certified guide at the starting point, who explains the day's paddling plan and shows you how to handle the kayak and paddles before you launch. No previous sea kayak experience is needed. The guide leads you along the coast at a pace that suits the group, paddling past impressive rock formations and nearby islets. The route stays close to shore, giving you time to take in the landscape without fighting the water.

The paddle includes stops at hidden beaches where you leave the kayak to swim and snorkel in the water. Snorkeling equipment is provided, so you just bring your comfort in the water. Between swims, you'll rest on the beach and eat the traditional picnic included with the activity. The guide times the return paddle to get you back to the starting point after roughly four hours on the water.

Children from age 8 can join, and the activity suits all fitness levels as long as you can swim and have moderate physical condition. The guide speaks English, Spanish or Italian depending on the group. You choose your pickup option at checkout: meet at a metro station with lunch included, arrive directly at Ag. Nikolaos beach, or arrange hotel pickup with lunch. All kayak and snorkeling gear, public liability insurance and taxes are included. You'll receive free photos taken during the day.
