The experience
You arrive 30 minutes early for a demonstration of the boat's controls and safety procedures. The 5-meter vessel has a 30 or 40 horsepower engine, comfortable seating and a modern design built for fuel efficiency. Once you're confident with the steering and basic operation, you cast off with up to five others aboard: family, friends, whoever you're traveling with. The boat is fully fueled when you pick it up. You pay for any additional fuel used at the end of the rental, roughly €70 depending on how far you roam.
The real draw is the freedom to anchor where you want. The boat comes equipped with GPS navigation, nautical maps and suggested routes, but you decide whether to head toward the blue lagoon of South Paros or the more remote island of Antiparos. You can swim, snorkel (masks available for €5 extra), sunbathe or simply drift in the Cyclades waters. The shade cover keeps the sun manageable during the heat of the day, and the portable refrigerator with ice keeps drinks cold. GPS tracking runs the whole time, not to spy on you, but so the rental company can help if you need it.
The only hard rules are safety ones: stay within 3 nautical miles of the coast, keep at least 50 meters away from swimmers and crowded beaches, don't let anyone else operate the boat, and monitor your fuel so you have enough to return. You need to be at least 21 years old and capable of handling the vessel. The operator reserves the right to refuse the rental if they have doubts about your ability to operate it safely.

Top questions
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
Can I rent the boat if I've never driven one before?
Yes. The rental includes a demonstration and safety briefing before you depart, covering the controls and basic operation. A little boating experience is appreciated but not required. The operator will assess whether you're comfortable handling the vessel before handing over the keys.
What's the difference between the half-day and full-day rental?
The half-day rental runs roughly 4 hours. The full-day rental runs up to 7 hours. Both include the same boat, equipment and briefing. You choose the length based on how much time you want to spend exploring the coastline and swimming.
What beaches or islands can I visit from Paros?
The boat can reach South Paros, including the blue lagoon area, and the nearby island of Antiparos, where Despotico is a popular anchorage. You stay within 3 nautical miles of the coast, so you're limited to nearby destinations rather than distant islands.
What happens if I run out of fuel or the boat breaks down?
The boat is delivered in excellent condition with a spare engine and complete rescue equipment aboard. The rental company tracks your GPS location throughout the day, so they can assist if you need help. You're required to carry a charged mobile phone for emergencies.
Is snorkeling gear included?
Snorkeling masks are optional and cost €5 extra per person. If you bring your own gear, you can use it at no additional charge.
How much fuel will I use, and what does it cost?
Fuel cost depends on your route and how far you travel, ranging around €70 for a typical day. The boat starts with a full tank. You pay for any additional fuel used when you return it, calculated on the spot.
