Parasailing at Rhodes Elli Beach: Mediterranean and Aegean views
Suspend high above two seas at once
Private parasailing at Gabriel's Watersports on Elli Beach in Rhodes lets you glide above the Mediterranean and Aegean seas while the Old Town, Mandraki Harbor and Monte Smith spread below. A safety briefing and staff support carry you from boat to sky and back, with 10 minutes airborne and 45 minutes total. Life jacket included. Guides speak English, Greek or Hebrew.
The experience
The boat leaves Elli Beach and heads out into clear water. Once you're harnessed and ready, the crew attaches your parachute to the towline and you rise gradually into the air, staying connected to the boat below. The ascent takes a few minutes. Your 10 minutes suspended happen at height, where the island rotates into view: the Old Town's walls, Mandraki Harbor's breakwater, Monte Smith's hilltop ruins, and the curve of coastline beyond. The staff on the boat can adjust your altitude on request, higher or lower depending on what you want to see or how you want to feel.
You're not alone up there. A guide stays with you throughout, managing the line and watching for your signal. They've done this hundreds of times and know the wind, the currents and the safest angle for your flight. Before you go up, they walk you through what to expect: how to position yourself, what the pull of the chute feels like, how to land back on the boat without strain. All safety gear is inspected regularly. When your 10 minutes end, the crew brings you down smoothly onto the deck, and you step off steady.
Gabriel's Watersports captures photos during your flight so you have the moment to keep. The whole experience (briefing, gearing up, the flight itself and landing) runs 45 minutes. Guides speak English, Greek or Hebrew, so the safety talk and any questions happen in your language. Minimum age is 14.

From altitude you see the Old Town's medieval walls, Mandraki Harbor with its breakwater, Monte Smith's ruins on the hilltop, and the curve of Elli Beach below. The Mediterranean and Aegean seas meet at the island's tip, so you're suspended between two bodies of water at once.

Can I ask to go higher or lower while I'm up there?
Yes. The crew can adjust your altitude on request during your flight, so you can control how high you want to climb or descend based on what you want to see or how comfortable you feel.
