You pick up the keys to a Suzuki Jimny at your hotel in the north of Rhodes and drive it yourself through the day. The route starts with off-road paths toward the village of Archipoli, where a local family farm sits in the hills. There you taste homemade products—several varieties of honey, souma, olive oil, traditional sweets and fresh seasonal fruit—and learn how they are made. The farm visit anchors the morning and gives you a sense of what the island produces beyond the tourist coast.

From the farm, you continue to the Rhodian Small Horse Farm called Faethon, where you meet horses of a rare breed on the brink of extinction. This is not a riding stop; you walk among them and see why they matter to the island. If you want lunch, a barbecue with Greek souvlaki, tzatziki, Greek salad and potato salad is available for €15 per adult and €10 per child under 12—you decide at the start of the day. The jeep then takes you through olive groves toward the Seven Springs, where you leave the vehicle and walk into a famous narrow tunnel carved through the rock, explore the springs themselves, or sit with a coffee and let the place settle. The final stop is a viewpoint for photographs before the drive back to your hotel.

The Suzuki Jimny is air-conditioned and the vehicle is insured; your own risk in case of damage by your fault is capped at €650.
